How to Increase Oxygen In Blood

The blood needs oxygen to function properly. Lack of oxygen in the blood can make the body experience serious problems. Besides exercise and blood transfusions, certain nutrients can also increase the oxygen in the blood. Blood oxygen levels can be reduced due to various reasons, partly because of asthma, lung disorders and iron deficiency (anemia). This condition is called hypoxemia. 

People who experience hypoxemia usually show symptoms such as shortness of breath, anxiety, disorientation, headaches, high blood pressure and bluish skin. following some important nutrients that can increase the oxygen in the blood: 

Low-fat diet.
Some studies reveal that high-fat meal can cause insulin resistance and sleep apnea (breathing problems during sleep). Sleep apnea can be associated with risk factors for hypoxemia. For that, eat high fiber, low fat diet with emphasis on fruits and vegetables can help increase oxygen levels in the blood.

Fruits and vegetables. 
acidic environment in the blood can cause reduced oxygen levels and increase the risk of certain cancers. Consumption of alkaline water in fruits and vegetables rich in potassium and magnesium as bananas, potatoes, tomatoes and green leafy vegetables, can help reduce acidity and treat hypoxemia. Fruits and vegetables are also a source high in antioxidants such as vitamin C and vitamin E, which protects blood cells carrying oxygen to the harmful effects of free radicals.

Low-sodium diet. 
low-sodium diet may result in increased blood oxygenation through the kidneys. Low-sodium diet is to reduce sodium intake to less than 2000 mg per day and multiply the fruits and vegetables, beans, peas, nuts and seeds.
